(I)=Integrated

 

 

Syntax

 

PROMPT [text]

 

 

 

Parameters

 

[text]                command prompt

 

text specifies command prompt

 

Prompt can be made up of text and special characters

 

 $C        (Left parenthesis)

 $F        (Right parenthesis)

 $G        > (greater than sign)

 $L        < (less than sign

 $P        Folder

 $S        Space

 $R        Report server

 $        Carriage return and linefeed

 $$        Dollar sign

 

Examples

 

$p$g this will display the folder and ">"

 

eg for the root folder

for the folder \reports
