Create new snapshot for a report

 

SSRS Version:

 

2000, 2005 (N), 2005 (I), 2008 (N), 2008 (I),2008r2(N), 2008r2(I), 2012(N), 2012(I), Azure

 

(N)=Native

(I)=Integrated

 

Syntax

 

createRptHistSnapshot <Report name>

 

 

Parameters

 

<report name>                Name of the report to create snapshot

 

Examples

 

 create a snapshot for the report sales

 

 createRptHistSnapshot sales

 

 

 

 

Remarks

the output will show information about the report history snapshot created:

 

Snapshot ID is:2012-08-27T20:33:12
