Health Check

The health check identifies reports and models with missing SSRS data sources.

 

Note: the evaluation version of the software will only check reports and models beginning with 'test'. To evaluate the software you can rename a report to being with test or create a new report and or model.

Health Check

 

 

Columns listed above:

 

Report Name- the name of the report or model

Folder- the folder where the report/ model is located

Current DS- the report or model data source

Type- idenitying if the item is a report or model

Server DS- the server data source. Initially this will show < No DS > to identify no data source for the server.

New server DS- This is a combo box See below on how to change the server data source.

 

 

 

How to Change the Server Data Source

1.Identify the report or model you want to correct the server data source.

2.In the above example the report blank2005 in the folder /XOLDOLD/2ODL...   (as you can see the whole folder cannot be seen, if this happens resize the column or make the application full screen)

3.Click on the right side of the New Server DS column (see mouse). This will show all avaliable shared data sources on the server.

4.Choose the server in the combo box.

5.Press the fix button.

Once the fix button has been pressed you can see in the Server DS column the new Data source

After modifying the missing server data sources you can exit the application or press the back button and choose Data source manager to manage all data source connections for reports and models.
