When the application is run for the first time there will be no friendly names, you need to add connections- press Manage Connections button.
1.Enter friendly name. The friendly name is case insensitive and must be unique, eg. if there is a friendly names called SSRS DEV and you try to add another connection ssrs dev it will fail
2.Enter report server URL. the format is http://server/reportserver for native or http://server/_vti_bin/reportserver for integrated (SharePoint) . If you are unsure of the URL see SSRS configuration on how to get the details
3.If using SSRS native you also need to enter the report manager URL. the format is http://server/reports
4.Enter the account details
5.Press add button
Select the report to change in SSRS Connection by clicking on the item or use the up/down buttons.
•Change the connection details (2) and (3) and the account details (4)
•Press Update button
•Select the item in SSRS Connections by mouse click the item or use the up/down buttons
•Press Delete button
If you have purchased the unlimited SSRS Server version all the SSRS friendly names will in the destination combo box (in the first screenshot)
If you have purchased a set number of destination servers there will be another button to add the source server to the destination server. Select the server from the SSRS Connections list and press Add to Destination server
After pressing Add to Destination Server this will open up a message box to confirm.This destination server becomes part of the license key. It cannot be removed. Please ensure you have selected the correct destination server.
Pressing yes will add the URL to the destination server.
After entering the details close the application clicking X in the top right of the form.
if a destination server has been added there will be a final confirmation on adding the destination server to the license key
Press Yes to confirm this data will be uploaded to the 2ndrock license server.
Send an email asking for the license key to be refreshed- send email to support@2ndrock.com
After getting a confirmation email from 2nd rock support you need to refresh the license key
1.Press License Tab
2.Press Refresh License button. Updated license details will be listed below.
