SSRS Security Manager

Manage the tasks associated to a role.

 

 

Note editing roles is only available for SSRS in native mode. You will not see the edit option if you are using SSRS integrated into SharePoint.

 

 

Adding a Role

 

1.Enter the name of the Role you wish to add

2.Select tasks you want associated to the Role.

 Tip: Select a current role that has similar task to the new role to be created. Make changes to this new role

3.Update the role description (optional)

4.Press the Add button

 

 

Deleting a Role

 

1.Select the Role you want to remove.

2.Press the Delete button

 

 

Modifying a Role

 

1.Select the Role

2.Change the tasks for the role.

3.Press the Update button.

 

 

 

Notes:

 

the Role Description is for the selected Role. If you simply want to update the Role description and not modify the tasks, change the text in Role Description text box and press update button.
